The Edge of History – Why I Believe Trump Will Win – World News Brief Special Edition

[show transcript below]

It’s election day, and the whole world holds its breath as we stand at the edge of history. Whoever wins this election will, for good or evil, change the course of world history. I give my predictions on why, both in the natural and in the spiritual, I believe Donald J. Trump will be given four more years to serve as president of the United States. The Edge of History: Why I Believe Trump Will Win Show Transcript:

“My son, do not forget my teaching,
But have your heart comply with my commandments;
For length of days and years of life
And peace they will add to you.
Do not let kindness and truth leave you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and a good reputation
In the sight of God and man.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your body
And refreshment to your bones.”

-Prov. 3:1-8 (NASB)

I happened to read this passage this morning of all mornings, and it was an incredible reminder of something all of us need to take a step back and remember: God is on His throne, and the story of history is ultimately His story. His will, His kingdom, is going to come in power and ultimately rule over all the earth and the affairs and workings of men and kingdoms and republics are subject ultimately to His transcendent will.

One of my favorite passages of Scripture is in the book of Revelation, Chapter 11, verse 15, where it states:

Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”

And when we recognize that, and we trust in that, God gives us a reward. And what is that reward? “It will be healing to your body, and refreshment to your bones.”

And before I jump into why I believe Trump will win today, I have one more scripture for you. It’s Philippians 4:6-7:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

I encourage you to meditate on that Scripture today and follow its instructions – you will be very, very, very glad you did.

Now I want to quickly jump into why I believe the sitting president will receive four more years in the White House. I believe he will win based on two primary spheres: the natural and the spiritual.

So just like it says in 1 Cor. 15:46, “However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual,” I’m going to talk about the natural first, then I’ll talk about the spiritual.

First, in the natural we see things never seen before in American history. Let me repeat that again: we are seeing things before that we’ve never seen in American history!

Does anyone remember parades of thousands of cars with Bush, Reagan, or Nixon flags flying all over the country? Boat parades with thousands of boats for either of those gentlemen as well?

Does anyone remember a Latino Pro Trump car parade with thirty thousand cars in Florida, or anywhere else for that matter, for ANY president, much less Republican? And that’s just one of many!

Does anyone remember rallies with 30 or 40 thousand people packed in for the privilege of an in-person event with the president, even if you were still several hundred yards away and it was forty degrees outside?

Does anyone remember a #BLEXIT or #WALKAWAY movement for any of those presidents, where a blue wall previously untouchable by Republicans is now being torn down like the Berlin Wall?

Does anyone remember famous civil rights activists such as Leo Terrell abandoning the Democrat party after 30 years of encouraging the black community to vote Democrat, now pleading with them to turn to the Republican party? Does anyone remember famous rappers with millions of followers abandoning the democrat party and going for George W. Bush?

Ladies and gentlemen, something is going on. Something is happening. Something we’ve never seen before in American history.

Right now at CGM.news we have a large list of pro-Trump polls and predictions to help encourage us this election day. Yes it’s lopsided, yes it’s undeniably biased toward Trump, as even the title indicates, but it’s only because we believe he will win. And it’s not based on wishful thinking, it’s based on real analysis by professionals such as Trafalgar and Democracy Institute who I believe have more freedom than hard left polling groups to simply give an accurate prediction.

The map at the top of CGM.news is from Kevin McCullough aka “Votestradamus.” I encourage you to visit cgm.news and read what he says about his map. I quote him to further cap off this section “in the natural.”

If the Trump campaign ground game truly registered the number of new voters they’ve claimed, and provided the turnout for today mirrors some level of the same energy as 2016 (or greater,) President Trump will claim a bigger victory than he did in 2016.

There is zero doubt that the closing energy was entirely with the President. The rallies were not only exhaustingly more numerous (who could match the stamina) but of course wildly well attended. They were also split-screened with “Biden rallies” that looked like a weekend gathering of classic car buffs sipping on coffee while the local candidate for city council yammered on in the distance.

But there are dozens of reasons why the President earned his second term. The keeping of more than 128 campaign promises, incentivizing explosive job growth (twice,) decapitating terror networks, ending foreign wars, re-establishing manufacturing, establishing energy exports, deregulating the choke-holds on small businesses, strengthening our weakened military, building 400 miles of the border wall, adding 300 judges to the courts, and three justices to the Supreme Court—these items don’t even begin to scratch the surface.

Keeping promises matters.

Indeed it does. May I add, in the spirit of the subject of this podcast, three middle east peace deals between Israel and its Arab neighbors, the first time it’s happened in 26 years, and he gets three within about a one month period, with five to ten more on the way?

I don’t know about you, but never, ever, in 24 years of legal voting ability have I voted FOR a presidential candidate. You’re always picking between the lesser of two evils. It’s all too familiar: head to the voting booth, depressed that the country picks its worst people to lead the major parties, you soberly cast your ballot, and throw up your hands while recalling the Alien vs. Predator movie tagline: “whoever wins, we lose.”

Not this time though. For the first time, including 2016, I, and very likely you, are voting FOR a candidate. We are voting FOR a president. For those listening who were of voting age during the Reagan era that probably hasn’t happened to you since…. 1984, has it?

And speaking of 1984… I see numerous parallels between Reagan and Trump, between this era and that one, but last night as I was falling asleep while contemplating the future of our republic what I heard earlier that evening at Trump’s rally in Kenosha, Wisconsin confronted me like a New Black Panther at a polling station: it’s “Morning in America” again.

Just like Reagan overcame incredible economic challenges to “open up” our country again after a deep, arduous recession, Trump is seeing the same type of results the same year of his presidency that Reagan did, with an incredible, record breaking economic comeback with a 33.1% GDP growth in the third quarter. Wrap your head around that: 33.1%. This has never happened before, and will likely never again.

Them’s winning numbers.

And while Trump is trying to open up, Biden wants to keep us locked in our homes further destroying our economy, small businesses, jobs, emotional and mental health, and lives, especially of our seniors. This is how Trump will win a much larger share than usual of the younger vote.

And what happened in 1984? Reagan won 49 states, every state but Mondale’s home state of Minnesota. Did you know that Minnesota is in play? Yeah, THAT Minnesota.

I could go on and talk about all of the deep blue cities that will be hurt this election because they allowed thuggish colonization, rioting, vandalism, looting, literal burning of our businesses, churches, and police stations, and literal cold-blooded murder to happen in their cities, all the while telling the police to stand down. Even just last night rioters and looters in Portland destroyed a Starbucks, dousing it in Kerosene and attempted to light it on fire. Did you know that particular Starbucks was on the bottom floor of a building with 300 apartment units above it? This of course was just after they let Portland State University know that their wokeness will not save them by smashing out windows and targeting the campus public safety office.

Do you think the events of this year might wake one or two people up as President Trump pledged his willingness to help while those mayors and governors rejected his help and allowed the Communist/socialist/brown shirt revolutionary terror groups to steal, kill, and destroy?

You get it. You understand this. I do too. And even though the media has tried to use Covid as the mother of all political juggernauts to take down this president, it hasn’t worked. Everything they’ve thrown at him, from spying on his campaign, to spreading the false Russian dossier and Russian collusion hoax, to the impeachment hoax complete with Adam Schiff completely making up an incriminating phone call between Trump and the president of Ukraine, to the hoax that Covid was all Trump’s fault, to the delusion that he is a racist and a sexist and a homophobe and a transphobe and an Islamophobe and any other pejorative they can scrape from the bottom of their sick, twisted, putrid, rotting, hate and rage filled minds, hasn’t worked.

Ladies and gentlemen, it hasn’t worked.

I said back in March when this pandemic first went down that everything that happens from here on out will ultimately help Trump win reelection. Little did I know back then that it would be the rioting and looting of the Antifa and BLM terrorists that would do it. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you’re ever willing to look up, and sadly, the message of freedom over tyranny, life over death, economic gain over dependence and poverty, and peace over war was never going to be good enough to wake these deep blue cities states mired in Trump Derangement Syndrome up. But I have to believe that they are beginning. There are some who even think California, yes, THAT California, is in play.

So in the natural realm, I believe there are many, many good reasons to predict a Trump victory. But what about the spiritual?

I’m going to read to you all an intimate part of my life, straight from my journal, on January 22, 2018. Then we’ll go from there:

I must also discuss the topic of revival and what God is leading me to pray about in that regard. Behind the apartment complex we were living in right before we moved here … there is a large … area of land, some of which is forested, but they made a half mile walking trail…

Well about a month after my dad died, around July of 2017, I’m walking around getting some exercise in as well as praying, and I sense that the Lord wants me to pray for revival for our country. Huh? Revival?? I thought America was long gone and like Europe would eventually be destroyed…. Revival for America? Is it possible??

So I did, and I began to include revival in my daily prayers on a regular basis.

Well fast forward to two days ago, Saturday, Jan 20. I begin to read this book by a man named Mark Taylor called “The Trump Prophecies.” I usually am not interested in this kind of stuff as I am very skeptical, but I know this guy predicted Trump winning the election back when no one said he would, and I had heard him on interviews several times since the election and he seemed legit so I decided to splurge and get it for $10 on Kindle.

I begin to read and can’t stop.

So, as I was praying for revival, there was an image of my country that I could not get out of my head. I would pray and believe, as I do now, that America’s destiny is not one of the disgusting sin that we see all throughout our culture, but rather, as a city on a hill, a light unto the rest of the world. And not primarily a light of constitutional freedoms, although those flow from what I am about to write, but a light of the gospel for the rest of the nations. That America would have so many tens of millions (hundreds of millions?) of Christians burning brightly for the Lord Jesus that the gospel would powerfully and exponentially proceed from this nation to the ends of the earth.

That’s what I had in my head back when I began praying about this last year.

And that’s what this guy has prophesied will happen!

I still can’t vouch for the guy, but I cannot underestimate the impact that book, that I finished reading half of by around 2:00 the next day… had on me.

I’m not sure how you feel about Mark Taylor or anyone who claims to be a prophet for that matter, but if you’ve been paying attention in the Spirit you know that something is going on in this country. While I don’t have it mentioned in this entry, I remember feeling back around that same time, before Trump had accomplished anything at all with Israel or on the world stage for that matter, that God was not going to let this country fall to tyranny, misery, and darkness. Rather, I strongly felt that He had set aside and was preserving this country to be a friend of Israel in these last days before Christ’s return, and as mentioned in my diary entry, to be a light to the world for the purposes of His kingdom.

Little did I know that soon after those incredible thoughts would flood my consciousness, that God would use this man to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, then move the embassy there, which every president since Clinton promised to do but never did, recognize the crucially important Golan Heights as sovereign Israeli territory, allow Israeli West Bank settlements, promote what is ultimately a one-state solution for peace with the Palestinian-Arabs, and secure three Middle East Peace deals with formerly hostile Arab neighbors (with 5-10 more on the way), completely obliterating the ruling class foreign policy wonk mindset that insisted for decades that you must resolve the unresolvable Israeli-Palestinian conflict before you can accommplish anything else in the Middle East. This perhaps is the ultimate proof that “elite” and “expert” does not equal “enlightened.”

I have no reason to lie to anyone about this. You don’t have to believe me, but anyone who knows me knows that I don’t make stuff like this up, and especially when it comes to God. I believe I will stand before God in judgment for the things I say on this show. I would not lie about this.

Fast forward to five weeks ago yesterday. It’s Monday, September 28, around 10am, and my family and I go on a walk with our dog. It was a peaceful day, and as we’re walking down our street, even though I wasn’t thinking about politics or news or anything, but just having a wonderful walk and peaceful time with my family, this strong impression hits me out of nowhere:

“He won.”

I was truly shocked. I wasn’t praying about, thinking about, or wondering about anything having to do with politics. It was one of those truly blessed times that politics and the fate of our country was not on my mind. But I had it – it felt very real, and very much like it could be from God. Just a few days later, on Thursday, it would be announced that Trump had Covid, Friday night he would be admitted to Walter Reed Medical Center, and literally three days and three nights later, exactly one week after that initial impression, Trump would emerge victorious over the great China plague. You can’t make this stuff up.

Fast forward to two days ago, Sunday, November 1. It’s the afternoon, the weather is beautiful, I’m in my backyard, resting in our tree house, praying about the election, and I feel a gentle tug, reminding me of that strong impression five weeks earlier.

He won.

That night I looked up at the moon, full as ever, shining brightly gently set in a crystal clear sky. I couldn’t help but see that moon as an eye, a representation of the eye of God, and get the sense that He’s carefully and lovingly watching over us. And the weather has remained clear, perfectly clear. I just checked the US radar map. There’s barely any precipitation anywhere. It’s clear, cool, beautiful, and thus all clear for the people of this country to get out and vote.

To sum up, I’ll end with this. I’ve experienced too much, seen too much, over the past couple of years to think that God, after all he’s accomplished through His chosen instrument, Donald J. Trump, is going to let the hard left take over and destroy our country.

When you take a step back like we try to do here on World News Brief and survey the macro events of the world, you see that God is doing something, God is on the move.

I believe, as I’ve said before on this broadcast, that Trump is a modern day Cyrus the Great, the Persian ruler whom God specifically chose to allow the Jewish people to go back to Judea after 70 years of exile in Babylon. And what was the purpose of them going back? Ezekiel 36:26 makes this clear:

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

And it’s not just me, in the oval office meeting with Netanyahu, Netanyahu himself likened him to Cyrus after he committed to moving the embassy to Jerusalem. But why did God use the godless pagan Cyrus to send them back? Because He had a plan. He had a purpose. His chosen people were still chosen, they were just under punishment for their idolatry and other evils. But God wasn’t done with them. And by the way, he’s still not.

In the New Testament book of Romans 11:25-29 we have an incredible prophecy by the Apostle Paul indicating the same type of spiritual harvest amongst the Jews. Here’s what he said:

For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; 26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written:

“The Deliverer will come from Zion,
He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.”
“This is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”

In relation to the gospel they are enemies on your account, but in relation to God’s choice they are beloved on account of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

I was not planning on doing this show today. I was planning on taking it easy on election day, spending some time in prayer and with my family, and trusting God for the outcome. But I had to do it. There was something that was compelling me, and I believe it was God. Honestly, I feel like I would be a total fraud if I did not share with all of you what God has been doing in me these past several years. I am far from perfect, I am a lowly sinner in need of Jesus’ grace.

But I sense strongly what God has been doing, and his plan could not be clearer as it unfolds before our very eyes – God is using Donald J. Trump as His 21st century Cyrus to restore the nation of Israel, ultimately for a nation-wide revival of acceptance of Jesus the Christ as their Messiah. “And so all Israel will be saved.”

This is what I believe, this is where I stand, and this, not because of the polls, not because of the predictions of the great political sages, is why I believe Trump will be reelected in perhaps a landslide victory, giving him another four years not just to be a conduit of revival in our land, but as a significant part of God’s plan to bring Israel back to Him.

His name is Trump for a reason. It’s no accident. I believe He is God’s Trump card and that, and that primarily, is why I believe he will win four more years. May God bless all of you, and may God bless the United States, Israel, and the whole world.
