Often, people repeat so called “facts,” assuming they are true only because they come from “experts” or “scholars.” Bob shows how scholars often disagree with each other, forcing us to look beyond credentials or degrees and instead examine submitted data and reasons for which a conclusion was drawn. The simple question, “How do you know?” can be like calling someone’s bluff in a poker game, asking them to show their hand.
